In Iran, parents strongly protested over the alleged poisoning of female students

After the increase in cases of alleged poisoning of female students by unknown persons to prevent them from going to school in Iran, the parents started protesting strongly.
According to reports, since November last year, hundreds of cases of respiratory problems among schoolgirls allegedly caused by poisoning in Waqam, south of the capital Tehran, have been reported, with several girls being hospitalized.
Hundreds of schoolgirls have fallen ill due to a hitherto unexplained illness, Iranian authorities believe the girls were allegedly poisoned and blamed on enemies of the country.
Last week, Iranian Deputy Minister Younis Panahi revealed that schoolgirls were poisoned in Iran because some people wanted to stop girls' education.
According to the Iranian news agency, Younis Panahi said that some people wanted to close the schools, especially for girls, that is why the students are being poisoned.
